Bombers' DFA Champions Cup Final Hopes End After 6–2 Loss to WE United
Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers FC saw their hopes of reaching the DFA Champions Cup Final come to an end following a 6–2 defeat to Valvoline WE United FC on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the DFA Technical Center in Stockfarm.
It was a disappointing showing for Bombers FC and not the result the team expected, particularly after a competitive first half that saw both teams level heading into halftime.
Valvoline WE United opened the scoring early in the match, but Bombers responded through Antawn Laroque, bringing the score level. WE United soon regained the lead, however Bombers again showed resilience when Ricardo Leblanc found the equalizer on the stroke of halftime, sending both teams into the break locked at 2–2.
The second half, however, belonged to Valvoline WE United. The team returned with greater attacking intensity and capitalized on their opportunities, scoring four unanswered goals to secure a convincing 6–2 victory and advance to the DFA Champions Cup Final, where they will face Dublanc FC.
