Bombers FC Launches “Bombers Care” Initiative with Community Breakfast Distribution

Portsmouth, Dominica — Bombers Football Club has taken a powerful step beyond the field with the official launch of its community outreach initiative, "Bombers Care," aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening community ties.
On its first outing, the initiative successfully distributed 49 breakfasts to members of the community. Despite challenging weather conditions, the Bombers team remained committed to the mission.
"We weathered the rain to deliver care," shared a club representative. "This initiative is about showing up for our community, no matter the circumstances."
The outreach effort was made possible through the dedication of volunteers, with special recognition given to Maurissa, Nola, and Glenda, whose support played a key role in the execution of the project.
The "Yes You Care" initiative is designed to be a monthly outreach program, taking place every last Sunday of the month. It forms part of Bombers FC's broader vision to be more than just a football club, but a pillar of community development and social responsibility in Portsmouth and beyond.
"This is just the beginning," the club emphasized. "We believe in building not only strong teams on the field, but strong communities off the field."
To ensure the sustainability and growth of the program, Bombers FC is calling on individuals, businesses, and community partners to support the initiative through donations of food items and essential supplies. Contributions will directly assist in expanding the reach and impact of future distributions.
The club remains committed to creating meaningful change through consistent action, reinforcing its message of unity, compassion, and service.
As Bombers FC continues this journey, the message is clear:
Together, we can build, uplift, and give back.
