Bombers FC to Represent Dominica at Historic OECS Women’s Club Championship 2026

Portsmouth, Dominica – May 28, 2026 — Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers Football Club has officially been informed by the Dominica Football Association (DFA) of a groundbreaking new regional women's football initiative — the OECS Women's Club Championship 2026, scheduled to take place in St. Kitts from July 18–27, 2026.

As champions of the Dominica Women's Premier League, Bombers FC Women will represent Dominica at the inaugural regional championship, which marks a major milestone in the continued growth and development of women's football across the Caribbean region.

The tournament is expected to feature clubs from across the OECS, organized into two groups of four teams, with approximately 20 to 25 matches anticipated during the competition.

The initiative is being supported by FIFA, which will provide travel assistance grants to participating Member Associations, along with hosting support to assist with the successful staging of the tournament.

Bombers FC President Jerry Williams welcomed the development, describing it as a historic opportunity for the club and women's football in Dominica.
