Bombers FC Expresses Heartfelt Gratitude to Inspire Forward Foundation for Supporting Young Footballers 

Bombers Football Club extends heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Inspire Forward Foundation for its generous donation of football boots and sporting supplies to young players of the Portsmouth Football Academy during today's Community Handover Ceremony held at the Portsmouth Cricket Academy Indoor Batting Facility.

The young players who benefited from the initiative are part of the Portsmouth Football Academy's Under-13 program and are also members of the current Primary School Boys and Girls Championship teams. For Bombers FC, today's initiative was about much more than football boots — it was about hope, opportunity, partnership, and investing in the future of young people within the Portsmouth community.

Bombers FC believes that initiatives like these highlight the true importance of collaboration and community partnership in youth development. The club wishes to commend the Inspire Forward Foundation for the tremendous work they continue to do in empowering youth through education, life skills development, counseling, and community care while helping to build brighter futures one step at a time.

The club also emphasized that the future of young footballers and young people in general cannot rest on one organization alone. It requires a collective effort and stronger collaboration between foundations like the Inspire Forward Foundation, schools, sporting academies, clubs, parents, community leaders, coaches, mentors, and other stakeholders who all play a role in shaping and guiding the next generation.

Bombers FC also highlighted the critical role that schools within the Portsmouth community continue to play in feeding into the Portsmouth Football Academy and the club's development programs. The success and progress of many of these young athletes begin within the school system, where teachers, principals, and school sports programs help identify and nurture talent from an early age.

The club believes that greater collaboration moving forward is essential to ensuring that young people are provided with the support systems, opportunities, mentorship, and positive environments needed to succeed both on and off the field.

Special thanks were extended to the Portsmouth Cricket Academy for hosting the ceremony and for continuously supporting youth and community-centered initiatives. Bombers FC also acknowledged Parliamentary Representative Hon. Fenella Wenham Sheppard and Mayor of Portsmouth Kerry Breedy for their continued support and commitment to youth and community development within Portsmouth.
