Academy Graduate | Portsmouth Bombers FC | Dominica U-17 & U-20 National Teams | UA Cossatot Colts

The journey of Je'Dyan Lockhart is a testament to the important role of the Portsmouth Football Academy in identifying, nurturing and developing young football talent in Dominica.

From his early years at the academy, Lockhart was introduced to the fundamentals of football, developing the technical skills, discipline, teamwork and understanding of the game that would provide the foundation for his continued growth.

As he progressed through the development pathway, he went on to represent Portsmouth Bombers FC in Dominica's Premier League, gaining valuable senior-level experience.

His development also earned him opportunities to represent Dominica at both the Under-17 and Under-20 national team levels, including selection for the 2025 CONCACAF Under-17 World Cup qualifying squad.

Today, Lockhart is continuing his football and academic journey at the University of Arkansas Cossatot in the United States, where he wears the number 7 jersey for the Colts.

His 2026 college statistics include eight appearances, seven starts and one goal, reflecting his growing involvement in the team.

For the Portsmouth Football Academy, Lockhart's journey highlights why investing in grassroots development is essential. The academy is more than a place where children learn to play football. It is where young players begin developing the confidence, discipline, character and football knowledge needed to pursue opportunities at higher levels.

Lockhart has taken what he learned at the Portsmouth Football Academy and continues to build upon that foundation on the international stage.

His progression from academy football to the Premier League, national youth teams and college football demonstrates the value of a structured player development pathway.

Portsmouth Bombers FC and the Portsmouth Football Academy celebrate his achievements and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a player, student and representative of Dominica.
